WWF’s Earth Hour is an annual global celebration where people switch off their lights for one hour to show they care about the future of our planet.

Earth Hour was famously started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia in 2007. Since then it has grown to engage more than 172 countries and territories worldwide.

Earth Hour 2017 takes place for one hour, beginning at 8:30 pm tonight.

It’s a symbolic and spectacular worldwide lights out display with a big message – we want to protect the future of our planet!

Join us for an evening of stargazing, beginning at 8.00pm.

Tickets are priced at: Adults £15.00 and Concessions £10.00

  • Use of the telescopes for viewing the night sky is only possible when we have clear skies.
  • Events go ahead in all weather conditions except where roads are impassible due to snow.
  • Visit includes introductory presentation, stargazing guide and telescope tour.
